AncientSoul. The best way that I use to tweet long urls is by using TinyUrl. Once installed, simply right-click anywhere on that page and go to "Create TinyUrl for this page" and click the save button. This automatically copies a tiny url version of the link to your clipboard. Now all you have to do is paste into your tweet! Try it and let us know if you need any further help. God Bless.

So MyYahoo! doesn't recognize the feed that collectively shows all your friend's tweets any more? It used to. I noticed that Twitter now requests your login to view this feed. They must be setting up some kind of API security restrictions or something. So my guess is that it's on Twitter's end and not Yahoo's. Hopefully they'll get this worked out.

I had the same problem but figured out that you have to copy the RSS URL from your Profile page NOT your home page. The difference in the URL is the phrase "user_timeline" (from the RSS button on your Profile page). The RSS URL from the Home page says "friends_timeline".

Of course now I'm not sure I'm really going to get the content I want to get with the "user_timeline" RSS but at least I figured out why it wasn't working right.

I'm having the same problem but I have a guess that it's a time lapse thing.... maybe there's a delay between when the twitter rss feed is created and when it is recognized by yahoo... dunno. Is that possible? Anyone... Did you get your feed to work?

I just tried it and it works fine. I did notice though that Twitter got rid of the RSS button. Are you putting "http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/20175056.rss" (only with your 8 digit number instead of the one in my example?) If that doesn't work then I'm not really sure what it could be. If you figure it out, please do share.

Thank you for your well laid out post. Unfortunately Yahoo keeps rejecting my twitter URL. I get, ("Please enter a valid URL and try again")

The privacy box is unchecked in twitter. I thought it may be that.

Has there been any change between Yahoo/Twitter since your post. I added a standard Google blog to my yahoo page today with no issues.

My twitter URL ends in the 8 digit personal number followed by .rss as I presume yours must do. The only bit of your excellent screen shot I am unable to see.

I am following three other feeds through Twitter with as yet no one following me.

Any help would gratefully accepted
